Since gaining your involvement, you have provided a high quality survey, remediation and shielding integrity testing service. From understanding of the brief, through to service delivery, and issue of reports all staff have been superb.

Aurora acted as our retained Radiation Protection Adviser and were key partners in the surrender of our Environment Agency Permit as part of the site decommissioning of our large pharmaceutical R&D site in the UK. To achieve the detail of surrender documentation required in a very tight schedule, Aurora demonstrated the highest level of project management and technical skills, using a team with specific experience for the task and had access to a wide range of monitoring equipment to achieve the required outcome.

Aurora Health Physics Services has provided us with radiation protection advice for over 10 years, supporting our surveys on former military sites and nuclear establishments. They have also provided our staff with training and support in understanding the hazards and safe system of work when sources of radiation may have been present.

Always thorough and with an intimate knowledge of relevant legislation, Aurora health physics have frequently integrated into our team to help deliver workable solutions for the successful development of what would otherwise be difficult sites.

I attended a one-day presentation given by Aurora in November 2016 and found it to be an invaluable refresher and opportunity to review and update my own knowledge whilst also meet with like-minded professionals.

The material was presented by Aurora personnel, and they demonstrated a good depth of knowledge not only in their own material, but particularly in responding to questions and topics raised by the delegates.

It was refreshing to come at this topic from the perspective of health and safety management, this gave the opportunity to explore ideas that incorporated the user perspective whilst also integrating readily into health and safety management systems. This course is suitable for, and relevant to, health and safety managers with and without radiation expertise!
